ClassicOT test server is open - come and try your account!


We are working on a new home for ClassicOT: a brand new server engine (Tibia 7.1 rules) with a new website, a

Windows/Linux client with an auto-updater, and a lot of configurable game options. Before we move anything, we want
you to test it. Nothing here replaces the current server yet - you keep playing on this one as usual.


What is it exactly?

     
  • A copy of this server's database taken on 19 October 2026 (a snapshot). Your account, characters, levels,
    •       skills, items, depots, guilds, buddy lists and houses were converted.
     
  • Bank gold was paid out as coins inside your depot chest, so nobody loses money.
    •  
  • Items that were inside houses were put back into the houses (in backpacks, the order inside the house is not kept).
    •  
  • Quest progress is converted: quests you already finished on this server count as finished there (a chest you already opened stays closed). Bans and some internal flags are not converted.

    • How to get in

       
    1. Open https://test.classicot.com and use Lost account with your
      2.       e-mail or a character name. Passwords could not be converted, so everyone sets a new one.
       
    2. Download the client from the downloads page (Windows or Linux)
      3.       and run the launcher. Server: test.classicot.com, port 7171.
       
    3. Log in with your account number and the new password.

      4. Please keep in mind

         
      • It is a test: the server can restart or be reset at any time and the VPS is temporary.
        •  
      • Progress made on the test server will NOT be kept. When everything works we will import the real, current
        •       TFS data again. Only the new password you chose may be kept.
         
      • The Windows client is new. If it does not start or something looks wrong, tell us exactly what you see.
        •  
      • Maximum 2 clients per PC.

        • What we need from you

        Try to recover your account, log in, check your character, items, depot, house, guild and report anything that

        is missing or different. Every report helps us do the final move without losing anything.


        No account will be lost. Only those who want to come back to try need to recover theirs.

        Dear Players,

        As time passes and we continue working on our next big update, we're also focused on rolling out 
        several fixes and improvements.

        We've addressed an issue where some NPCs were selling non-existent items, and we've fixed 
        the Ornament Shield quest in the Plains of Havoc. 
        Please continue reporting any inconsistencies you encounter.

        We've also implemented some quality-of-life improvements based on your feedback. 
        Notably, the ferryman in Colda has made enough gold to upgrade to a proper ship and has been promoted to Captain. 
        He can now offer longer journeys, including travel to Edron.

        Additionally, we have decided to remove Orshabaal from Flores, as it wasn’t functioning as we intended. 
        A new monster will take its place and is now required to complete a certain well-known quest in Flores.

        Regarding the epics, we’re excited to see that some players have figured them out. 
        However, we'd like to clarify that you don’t need to create a new character to finish this quest. 
        Though you're welcome to do so if you choose!

        Finally, be on the lookout in the coming days, as rumors suggest the real Orshabaal may spawn in his usual location.

        A long-awaited update finally arrives.              

        Honored adventurers from today onwards you can try to find your way to new lands in the north! 
        There you will face countless of challenges and discover new quests to solve.

        We hope you find good spots for hunting monsters you are familiar with, but in new epic caves and hunting grounds. 
        If you are up to the task, you will also find native creatures roaming the lands like frost dragons. 
        Of course, with the traditional old school feeling. 

        Colda awaits you, but first you need to find Dean, a traveler sent on a mission from the frozen kingdom. 
        He should be located in the borderlands of the Kingdom of Colda and the main continent you already know. 
        Surely if you help him, he will reward your bravery!
